Sun-U Choir Recital

Few weeks ago, Jian asked me to support our Ying Siew in her choir performance.
Well, at first I really did not expect much from it, because he said they were quite new and they barely have any instruments, and they are raising funds to buy them. But seriously, never judge a book by it's cover. Sun-U Choir are a bunch of Amazing peeps!
Before this, I brought my parents to my choir performance and they almost fell asleep. haha
But the Sun-U Choir were soooooooooooooooooooooo energetic and enthusiastic!
Despite from what a choir normally does, they all did a lot more than that and made the performance an entertaining one. ;)   They had a storyline for all the songs and they danced according to the song, something like High School Musical, pretty impressive. ;)

I didn't get to take photos of their performance, cause we were not allowed to use flash and I don't really know how to take under dim light, might as well just sit there la. haha
But here are some photos after the show. ;)

The sentosa gang! Surprisingly, Lim Jein was there in the choir too! :)
 Group Photo with Jian's coursemates
 Sun-U Choir!

Finally a perfect photo with Jian. haha

 Chirs. ;)

 Hong Syuen :)

Ying Siew and the choir leader. freaking funny and happening guy. :)

Rm15 for the ticket?  I will be willing to buy the ticket even if it's more expensive than that next time, worth the money! haha
If you are bored with the usual choir, wanted to see something choir-ish but even more exciting than that?  Check out the Sun-U choir. If it's not as exciting as I said, I'll pay the ticket for you. xD haha (joking!)

Feel free to have a look at it. it's pretty impressive. :)

 The Seplanet Cycling team!

After spending so much time indoor, it feels really good to spend some time with the in Taman Pertanian,
If you like cycling and you're looking for a nice environment to ride, this is definitely the MUST-GO places. Even if you are not a cycling person, it's nice to try this out, something special and we won't get to experience normally. :)

After burning calories while riding the bike, there's a famous ChaXiu shop 10 minutes driving distance from Taman Pertanian. We had a satisfying lunch there and remember to try it if you ever been there. Check this website out for more details. ;)  http://kyspeaks.com/2007/08/10/ky-eats-meng-kee-char-siew-%E6%98%8E%E8%AE%B0%E5%8F%89%E7%83%A7%E7%8E%8B-at-glenmarie/

Although I have a lot of plans for my holiday and plans for my future,  get quite worries about my future, Cause I realize I'm the average person, I'm not really good in anything. Which makes me feel there's high chance not getting a good job in the future, and I saw this in Facebook,

I believe he really has a bigger plan for me, waiting for me to discover,
Hope I can realize the plan soon and keep striving for it. But nomatter what it is, I know I am going to stay with Him and do his will, cause it really feels so good serving This wonderful and loving God. :)

Chillax with The Ows! @ Valley Resort 山寨谷

It's the Raya Holidays and finally all my relatives are free to have a family trip at Valley Resort!
Well, I'm having exams right after this, but I still chose to spend this precious 2 days with my relatives and enjoy it to the max! (I did study and make sure I'm prepared la, no worries. :p)
In fact, it turns out I did a right choice!

Before the trip starts, we went to visit our Kampung nearby, and TADA!
The place where I spend almost all my days of Chinese New Year for years.
I still like this place so much that whenever I come back here, it reminds me of the Fun times we had with all the crowd. ;)

My Garden of my another Kampung. (mum's side.)

After visiting them and taking some pictures, we started our journey to the Valley Resort!
It is located beside the road in Raub, Pahang. There's no public transport into the resort, thus people definitely need a car to visit the place.

The owner of this place worked at KL for quite some time and he decided to operate this resort because he want to share the wonderful experience of living in a village. So expect the place to be village-like, not much luxury stuff. :p
The entrance
Just follow the road and you will see the resort in a few minutes. :)

The main restaurant of the resort. There's many customers during lunch time and dinner time, and they are famous of their seafood here. :)  The place is pretty nice as you can see, it's just that the water is chalky at times after it rains.

There's also small hut for customers to have lunch!

All of them have individual names famous people in Chinese history.

There's this cool vehicle in the midst of the pond, which helps us to cross to the other side of the pond!
How I wish I have this thing in the lake in my University. xD

A small sampan for the customers to play with. ;)

Other part of the lake

Cute but kesian monkeys being locked up to attract visitor's attention. :/

kinda pity them, but just did not get to tell the owner about it. :/

There's a free karaoke room for those who are going to overnight here, perfect entertainment for those who likes to sing. ;)

About the accommodation of the place, there's a few chalet and it allow us to experience living in a village very much as the design is pretty kampung. I like the design, and there's a small balcony for us to chillax when you wanna get some air at night.
Pretty cvillage-like huh? :)

2 pax bedrooom with built-in toilet

Besides spending time in-door eating, singing and playing board games, we also spent time going outdoor exploring the mountain ourselves. :)  The weather that day windy and it was perfect for hiking. So we went all the way up to the top. Here are some pictures of it. ;)

Th wind up there was VERY STRONG wei, our hair are all flying backwards. xD

The wind up there was so strong and nice, worht all the tirednesss. hehe

All in all, It's a wonderful village-like experience with the Ows'. If you are looking for a place to chillax and relax, a one day trip to this place is definitely recommended. :)

If you are interested to know more about this place, feel free to visit the FB page of this place.

Buddy Jian's Big Day! :D

The first friend that I met in High School and he taught me a lot of "bad stuff", the one who tempts me to wake up in the midnight to play games just to get to the same level as him. xD  The one who always made me envy with the amount of girls he has. xD  The one that supported me to jumped over the wall to ponteng school to buy present. xD  the one who always plan the friends' birthdays with me. The one who always supporting me by at least saying positive stuff. that's him!
Happy Birthday Mr Lor Jian Sheng!

He is a wonderful friend and I am grateful for all the bad things he taught me which makes me who I am today. xD  haha
We planned a surprise party for him and he was completely surprised about it la. haha
Get most of his best friends to celebrate his birthday and we watched Olympics together!
That's the most fun part of the day man, me and Ken was shouting all the way even the next street can hear us! Had pizza and cake and we skyped and called some of the others which can't make it. ;)

The face after saw Dato LCW cried.. :(

Group Photo with the one shyping as usual. xD

There's one sad thing about me and Jian is that Both of us don't really have a good photo together. xD
Both of this are the best shot and it's always with someone else in! I should really take a good picture with him when we meet la.

Our National Hero, My Inspiring hero. :)

6/8/2012

That night, when Olympics is going on in London. Almost All Malaysians are watching Dato Lee Chong Wei playing badminton in the Olympic Badminton Finals. There's no picture nor proof needed to show, because literally every mamak stall which has a big TV are filled with people and some of my friends cannot even find seats for their dinner!

I am not really a badminton fan, but I watched Dato Lee played for all the badminton finals which can be seen on TV1 or TV2. Had been watching it with my dad since I'm young, but I did not really cheer for him when he is playing, UNTIL THIS DAY! I saw in the newspaper saying that this might be this last Olympic games, and me and my friends decided to cheered for him like mad!

After he won his first match, I was pretty excited thinking that there will be free ice-cream, free meal at Kayu and a public holiday for everyone!  My friend and I took those empty 1.5L bottle and start whacking and cheering for him!
At the same time, I heard my friend saying that she said a whole condo of people are jumping and shouting when Dato won the first round! How wonderful is that. :)

After he lost the second match, we started to get nervous and we shouted even louder for him! hoping that our voice will reach him. However, he lost in the end, and he cried knee-ing down at the floor. I had never shouted like this sincerely for someone and I was really sad when he lost. And I start seeing people post status to comfort him. I was so sad but relieved at the same time, because I kinda noticed He brought our people together as one.

**

After reading his news and looking into his videos, I knew that he went on the court playing with leg injuries, and he has to eat pain killers everytime before he plays. He did not complain to anyone about the pain and he still gave his best shot in every match. He knew that he have to withstand those pain and keep on playing, just to make our nation proud.

Our hero when he won the semi-finals
Our hero when he lost the finals
I can understand why he cries, the country placed such a big investment and gave a lot of support to him hoping that he will get Malaysian's First Olympic Gold Medal. However, I do not think he should cry and apologize because he already inspired and united people even without the Gold Medal. He really did a great job and  He had inspired a lot of people just like what this Olympic's theme is all about
---  "Inspire a Generation"

I like these videos which are made by the DLCW fans and this is another good reason for our hero to be positive ad work harder for the coming competitions. :)

I reflect upon myself when I see how a man takes all the stress just on him,
All my stresses are like a stone in the sea compared to his, but yet I complained about all the little things in my life. I felt embarrassed and I will be independent in managing my stress and the one who listens to people complaining rather than become a person who complained a lot about little issue.

All in all, he had inspired and united us Malaysians, and no one would deserve more to get the title of
"Our Nation Hero", but Dato Lee Chong Wei.

Music Flows in Me

I remember how it exactly started!

My parents thought "children who learns piano are more obedient", and they want us to have a healthy hobby, so they bought us a keyboard at first! my Siblings and I were so excited about it back then, because the keyboard can do a lot of interesting effects and funny music. We played it almost everyday and it really brought a lot of fun and laughter to our family, and it had made us bond closer. :)

but things are not that fun anymore when i started taking piano classes at first, because learning all those classical songs which I don't know how to enjoy it was reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllly boring. :/
I did not want to practice and touch the piano anymore and I start hating it cause I can't play all the songs, and when teacher forces you to play them, it's really tiring la. ( it's like figuring out how to do add maths questions that you don't even know! )

Until one point, where my brother gets to a level where he needs to start using piano pedal, then my parents bought a real piano this time which costed them  a bomb!  and that makes me can't my hands out from the piano. HOWEVER,THANKS TO MY PERSISTENT MUM, I AM ABLE TO MAKE IT THIS FAR! :D

Just went for my Grade 8 piano exam few days ago at Jaya 33 Function Room. For this time, cause I can't really focus in piano until the very last month, so I hard core played piano for the 4 weeks! there's one day I played 6 hours a day until my left hand feels cramp and I cannot continue playing anymore for that day.
Well, I want to say all the effort paid off but NO... I did quite badly... :/
I was unprepared for it I would say, I didn't read up te background the composers so I did on that morning and I did not get enough time to warm myself up. So I literally did a mistake every 15 seconds.
*Imagine a song with that lot of mistakes.*

I always believed that God will not abandon me, even at the driest times, and I believe there's something that he wants to hint me. After thinking of it, I think he is taking this chance to learn the importance of managing my time properly. I have this habit of doing things last minute and at most of the times the results aren't good to look at.

All in all, I am reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally grateful and lucky to have my piano teacher and my mum who constantly pushes me this far, that now I get to play the songs that I like to play and to entertain other people as well. ;)  I learnt how to appreciate the classical music and I started to love hem. ;)   The results are coming out in 2 weeks time, but nomatter what's the results of the exam, I will have no regrets cause I have tried my best and he has a reason for making everything to happen ;)

Here's a video of me playing one of the songs that I liked very much. enjoy! :)
PS: I never thought I will show it here when I posted it, so please don't mind my clothing and some mistakes here and there. xD
